Three ways to clean your text — pick the one that fits how you work.
Look for ✓PP in the top-right of your Mac menubar. Auto-Clean is on by default.
Copy from ChatGPT, Apple Notes, Google Docs, Word — anything. PastePerfect cleans it automatically in the background.
Press Cmd + V. Your text is already clean — headings bold, bullets intact, spacing perfect.
Need to clean something already on your clipboard? Click PP → Clean Once anytime. Want to pause auto-clean? Toggle Auto-Clean: ON to turn it off temporarily.
Paste and send your text as a normal message in any channel.
Right-click the message you just posted. Under Apps, select Clean This Message.
PastePerfect replies with the cleaned version — only visible to you. Copy it, delete the original, paste the clean version.
The bot is free. Click here to add PastePerfect to your Discord server.
No install required. Works in any browser.
Paste messy text into the input box on the left.
Your cleaned, Discord-ready text appears on the right. Click Copy and paste into Discord.
Make sure Auto-Clean is ON — look for ✓PP in your menubar. If it shows PP without the checkmark, click it and toggle Auto-Clean back on.
If you used the bold/italic buttons in Apple Notes or Google Docs, that formatting is rich text — it gets stripped when you paste into Discord regardless of PastePerfect. PastePerfect detects headings and labels automatically, but inline bold mid-sentence requires the Mac app's Auto-Clean mode (not the web tool or bot).
Global Discord commands can take up to 1 hour to appear. Try right-clicking a message, hover over Apps — if it's not there yet, wait a few minutes and try again.
The app may have quit. Relaunch it from your Applications folder or wherever you saved it. To have it start automatically, add it to System Settings → General → Login Items.
